In 2018, Jon Butt commissioned me and Adam Cruickshank to produce a series of Posters to celebrate the 10th birthday of c3 contemporary art space. I was to write a short piece for the poster and Adam would design them. In preparation Jon sent me a list of names of all the people involved in the c3 community over the years. One day in the process, I had a thought to write using the finite letters of each of the c3 community members.
