Benthic Community Flutes Sketch 1 (Sandy Ghost Shrimp)

This work has been made with the inter-tidal flows of Moonee Ponds Creek in mind.
This video is a work-in-progress, which also takes place alongside the larger context of the ongoing collective project Tributaries (Geoff Robinson, Ying-Lan Dann, Saskia Schut, Benjamin Woods). It is intended as a sketch for future group performance and sculpture.
This sketch of Benthic community flutes includes blown glass flutes inspired in part by the burrows of the sandy ghost shrimp.
This artwork was also a finalist in the Darebin Art Prize, 2021.
